    A: Telephone land lines can be obtained only for those holding residency. H. P. agreements are at the discretion of individual outlets. Mobile phone contracts are available.

    A: It is a statuary government requirement that all new buildings have earthquake insurance cover. Hanel Houses will provide this cover for the first year from purchase date. Additional cover can be purchased.

    A: The insurance company recommended by Hanel Houses is government registered and will offer various packages to suit the customer. Our staff is available to assist.

    A: Monthly outgoings will vary according to personal use but a guide would be: Electricity approx. 10 – 15 GBP per 2 months

    Water approx. 10 GBP per 2 months

    Property tax approx. 50 – 100 GBP per year

    What is included in the Hanel House 5 years warranty?

    A: Hanel Houses 5 year warranty states that any defects with the building materials used or fixtures and fittings which have been included will be replaced or repaired should any fault occur. Hanel Houses are not liable for any damage caused by the owners of the properties. All furniture etc. are covered by manufacturers’ guarantees.

    Will all documentations be translated into English?

    A: All customers will be accompanied to the Notary by English speaking staff and all procedures will be explained in full. All documents are in Turkish but a translation of the Power of Attorney is available from us. Any other translations can be arranged with a government approved translator for a small fee.


    Q: What is a “tapu”? Will all the papers be in my name?

    A: The Tapu is the Title Deeds for the property. The tapu will be registered in either joint or single names at the purchaser’s request.

    A: All properties are freehold unless specifically stated.

    A: The drainage systems used will depend on the construction design and will be either drainpipes or the chain system.

    A: Residency details are available and is relatively easy to obtain. Hanel Houses staff is available to advice. Prior to obtaining residency entrance visas must be renewed every 3 months.

    A: Our basic package is: all ceramics and accessories for the bathrooms, kitchen ceramics, flooring throughout, light fittings and wall colors from a choice available. Cables for air- condition units and fittings for TV and telephone are also included.

    A: Villas can be furnished by us or our staff will take the customer shopping in the local area to choose furnishings according to the individual budget


    Q: If for example Dalaman airport was closed, where is the nearest airport? Could you arrange my transfers?

    If for example Dalaman airport was closed, where is the nearest airport? Could you arrange my transfers?

    A: When Dalaman is closed the nearest airport is Antalya and transfers can be arranged through our After Sales Dept. Alternatively, flights can be made to Dalaman via Istanbul.

    A: All gardens are landscaped as per each project, barbecues will be included depending on the plans for each Project.

    A: Interior plans can be changed if requested at the onset of each project. If changes are required when Project is near completion then charges may be incurred.

    A: Any area of open land surrounding our projects not belonging to us could possibly be used for further development by others. However, we will endeavor to find out such information if at all possible.

    A: Depending on the Project specifications we will use either PVC or natural wood for windows and a complimentary match for the exterior doors.

    A: All materials and fixtures & fittings are Turkish Standard Institution (TSE) registered.

    A: A passport is all that is required. All paperwork pertaining to the purchase of a property is done through the local government offices.
